Tour coaches can drive directly into the large car parks around the Cultural Park and the quay; the roads are paved and suitable for coach access. Parking: Large, free car parks at the New Hasankeyf Cultural Park and around the quay/new settlement area; these can get busy in season.

Tour coaches use the Cultural Park car park and the jetty/new settlement area; the climb to the castle continues on a pedestrian ramp or by boat, as large vehicles cannot reach the plateau summit. Parking: The New Hasankeyf Cultural Park car park and the area around the jetty are used; limited arranged space at the castle foot.
The panorama of the Tigris valley and reservoir from the edge of the plateau; the castle and cliff silhouette from the opposite bank of the Tigris; the view from the water on the boat tour; the slopes of the cave city. Golden-hour light (sunrise/sunset) gives the best results.
Limited. Wheelchair access is difficult due to the ramped, stony and uneven terrain and steep climb; the lower promenade and jetty sections are more accessible.
